Exploring the streets of New York City is one of my favorite things to do. Looking for new discoveries or going to recommended ones, I never stop. This is not a traditional food blog. I don't focus on restaurant reviews, or cooking tips; but I find specific items that you absolutely must try. Whether it be a cranberry donut or the best cappuccino. The focus isn't on the usual, but the cheap, the best, and the hidden.
I am always looking for new places to go! Send me a tweet, or leave me a tip of your favorite place or find in the comments!

Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
This place makes me want to go do laundry. It’s a convenient excuse seeing as it’s so hidden, most people would think it to be attached to the laundromat next door. French bakery. Buttery croissant. Been there done that, eh? It sounds boring even to me. I nearly fell asleep typing that last sentence. For some reason I ordered the almond croissant and coconut croissant at Margo Patisserie, I have yet to discover why. But I thank Olympus I did. Hands down, up, or wherever you wanna put em, these croissants took delicious, slapped it in the face, and threw it out onto the street. Delicious isn’t a worthy description. Airy. Buttery. As if each flake had wings and was hand buttered by a person with extremely nimble hands. The filling it perfectly distributed throughout the entire pastry. Smooth and each with the slight distinction of coconut or almond. It’s a worthy stop, especially considering Levain is 30 steps East.
A French revolution, found.
Tip: Cash Only.
Tip: Get both the coconut and almond croissant.
