Exploring the streets of New York City is one of my favorite things to do. Looking for new discoveries or going to recommended ones, I never stop. This is not a traditional food blog. I don't focus on restaurant reviews, or cooking tips; but I find specific items that you absolutely must try. Whether it be a cranberry donut or the best cappuccino. The focus isn't on the usual, but the cheap, the best, and the hidden.
I am always looking for new places to go! Send me a tweet, or leave me a tip of your favorite place or find in the comments!

Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Lincoln Center. Coffee. Not Starbucks. WHAT. Yes, there is now another option. A great one at that. Epicerie Boulud. It’s an eat in cafe and take out market with a variety of sandwiches, salads, cheeses, pastries and coffee. The coffee is great, and the pastries are just perfect. With such a huge variety, it can be really tough to choose. This is the kind of place where you just go with what you feel like. Why? Because everything will be amazing. On the particular day I was there, I chose the berry pistachio tart, and the blueberry financier. The tart was overflowing with strawberries, and had a delicious creamy pistachio base. The financier had this blueberry crumble on top, with a perfectly balanced base. Go to Epicerie Boulud, explore, frolic, and most importantly drink coffee and eat pastries.
Another best of the Upper West, found.
Tip: Seating is extremely limited, so plan to stand or go across the street to Lincoln Center.
