Exploring the streets of New York City is one of my favorite things to do. Looking for new discoveries or going to recommended ones, I never stop. This is not a traditional food blog. I don't focus on restaurant reviews, or cooking tips; but I find specific items that you absolutely must try. Whether it be a cranberry donut or the best cappuccino. The focus isn't on the usual, but the cheap, the best, and the hidden.
I am always looking for new places to go! Send me a tweet, or leave me a tip of your favorite place or find in the comments!

Ay dios mio!!! Translation; this is a serious coffee spot that doubles as a 24 hour Cuban luncheonette. It’s open, airy, and awesome. Walk in, grab a window seat, or a spot at the counter. There is plenty of sunlight, and free wi-fi. I repeat, free wi-fi. The cappuccino’s here are great and topped with a super light foam. This is the sort of place you could just spend hours. Come in for a coffee, get some work done on your laptop, roll into lunch, and before you know it, it’s time for another coffee. By the way, the food is fantastic here and incredibly priced. The pastries are by infamous pastry chef Pichet Ong, so that whole pastry thing is covered real good. And did you see how cheap the coffee is?! Look at the prices on that menu! Did I mention how conveniently located Coppelia is? 14th between 7th and 8th. So why aren’t you there now? They’re open..like, right now.
A Cuban treasure, open all the time.
Tip: Sit near the front of the restaurant. There is a ton of natural light that flows in.
Tip: Check in on foursquare, there’s a special.
Tip: There’s free wi-fi
Tip: The food is super cheap, and it’s just fantastic.
