Exploring the streets of New York City is one of my favorite things to do. Looking for new discoveries or going to recommended ones, I never stop. This is not a traditional food blog. I don't focus on restaurant reviews, or cooking tips; but I find specific items that you absolutely must try. Whether it be a cranberry donut or the best cappuccino. The focus isn't on the usual, but the cheap, the best, and the hidden.
I am always looking for new places to go! Send me a tweet, or leave me a tip of your favorite place or find in the comments!

Sadly, this venue is NOW CLOSED.
Upper East Side + Coffee = terrible/nonexistent/go downtown. That’s how it used to be. But now there is answer to this equation. It’s called Luna Espresso. Simply one of the best places to get coffee period. (Yea, I just took it that far). You can thank the Clover (yes I’m aware it’s a link to Starbucks). Both of them. The two Clover Machines. But that is only part of what separates this espresso bar from the rest. The staff. I hear “the staff here is great” all the time. Until you go here, you haven’t experienced great staff. UNparalleled experience. The owner Lance manned the Clover and explained the origin of the beans, and even gave us some tasting notes. The other barista constructed a mind blowingly good mocha. Beyond description. (Seriously, the 3 of us that were there; all minds blown). The once non-free wifi is now free for 60 minutes, and there is plenty of space to lounge. As we sat in our leather armchairs, a monstrous leather couch was being walked through the front door. Luna Espresso makes a trip uptown worthwhile.
Espresso giving life to the Upper East Side; finally.
Tip: Order something from the Clover Machine; it’s an experience.
Tip: The barista said he can make any design on an espresso drink such as a latte. Go wild Tip: CASH ONLY
